Sharp, G. B. – age 74, of Maynardville passed away peacefully at home and entered eternal rest on Monday, April 14, 2014. He is preceded in death by parents, Hobart (Jake) and Vina Lou Norris Sharp; brothers, John Sharp and Glen Sharp. He is survived by loving wife of 52 years Bertha Lou (Bo) Effler Sharp; daughter, Lisa (David) Underwood; sons, Tom (Tammy) Sharp and Richard (Kathy) Sharp; sisters, Edith (Herschel) Sharp, Lois Sharp, Wanda (Darrell) Murray, Nell (T. R.) Effler and Sharon Russell; grandchildren, Erica (Marvin) Davenport, Jonathon, Eli and Olivia Sharp, Marshall, Sam and Wendy Underwood; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service at Effler Cemetery with Reverend Corey Carroll officiating.
