Franklin “Dee” Davis – age 76 of Andersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 30, 2016. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Dee was a retired dairy farmer and considered everyone his good buddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Garlin and Myrtle Davis; sisters, Claudia Hodge and Helen Langley; brother, Bobby Davis; and great grandson, Bryce Davis. Dee is survived by his loving wife of 51 years whom he cherished, Charlotte Faye (Coppock) Davis; son, Phil Davis; grandson, Bryan Davis; granddaughters, Brett Davis and Brooke and husband Duck Childress; great grandchildren, Gracie, Emily and Levi Davis and Peyton and Paxton Childress; sisters, Evelyn (Charles) Smith and Jo Ann (Eddie) Buckner; several nephews; and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Vernon Heatherly and Reverend Joe McCoy officiating. Eulogy by Buddy Coppock. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Snodderly Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
