Obituary for Angela Jean "Jeannie" Cox

Angela (Jeannie) Cox, age 55 of Maynardville, went home to be with Lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Jeannie was a small business owner in Maynardville for several years before retiring. Rustic-re-Do was a business she started from her garage and grew into its very own store front in Maynardville. Jeannie would transform old worn-out furniture into beautiful household show pieces. Her gift of working with furniture and ability to make relations with so many people allowed her to be an extremely successful business owner and staple in our community.

Jeannie found the Lord at a young age and God’s love continued to shine all throughout her life. She never met a stranger. From hairstyling in her younger years, to factory work, then work in retail, onto the dermatology field, to finally a small business owner, Jeannie touched so many lives. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandparent, sister, friend and so much to so many others, but to most of us she was simply Nana. We are heartbroken and will miss her but are comforted in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Jeannie was proceeded in death by parents, Pat and Mary Ella Wolfenbarger. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years and wonderful nurse, Neal Pollard; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Chris Sizemore; son and daughter-in-law, Taylor and Kadie Cox; daughter, Caylee Pollard; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and David Wright; grandchildren, Kelsey Holt, Jackson Holt, and Raelynn Cox, Nic
and Emily Sizemore; Uncle, Glen Wolfenbarger; Niece and nephew Savannah and Andrew Wright; great-niece, Gracie Pellegrini; best friend since kindergarten, Melissa Savage (Aunt Weeze); mother-in-law Brenda Pollard; brother-in-law, Phillip Pollard; sister-in-law Rhonda Collins; and her fur babies, Charlie,
Bug, and Hazel.

Jeannie’s book will be available for friends and family to sign 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2023 at Trinity Funeral Home. Trinity Funeral Home, Maynardville, has the honor to serve the family of Jeannie. 865-992-5002 www.trinityfuneralhome.net
