Obituary for Audley Roger "Squirt" Mitchell

Audley “Squirt” Mitchell – age 87 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully April 13, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and a longtime employee of Coca Cola Company. Roddy Manufacturing.

He is preceded in death by son, Gerald Mitchell; parents, Clarence and Elsie Mitchell; siblings, Winfred Mitchell, Edith Dukes, Margaret Hale, Iva Stanley, Lola Myers, Richard Mitchell and Beecher Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Liva (Sharp) Mitchell; children, Michael (Carolyn) Mitchell of Knoxville; Gary (Debra) Mitchell of Maynardville; Keith Mitchell and Vicky Mitchell both of Knoxville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and lots of other loving family members.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service will follow with Reverend Danny Neal officiating. Family and friends will meet at Trinity Funeral Home Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. to go in procession to Monroe Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
