Obituary for Bertha Lou Sharp
Bertha “Bo” Sharp – age 83 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, G. B. Sharp; parents, T. R. and Nila Jane McCampbell Effler; brother, T. R. Effler, Jr.; and sister, Helen Effler. Bertha is survived by her daughter, Lisa (David) Underwood; sons, Tom (Tammy) and Richard (Kathy) Sharp; sisters, Betty Effler Sharp and Ann Effler; brothers, John (Winnie) and Jack (Linda) Effler; grandchildren, Erica (Marvin) Davenport, Jonathon, Eli and Olivia Sharp, Marshall and Sam (Phoebe) Underwood, Wendy (Hayden) Settle; great grandchildren, Nash Davenport, Grayson and Lyric Sharp; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2024 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Bill McCarter officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Effler Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
