Obituary for Betty Jean Lowry (Hawkins)
Betty H. Lowry – age 89 of Maynardville, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020. She was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Halls. She enjoyed needle point, knitting and watching basketball.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Vern Lowry; children, Wally (Melanie) Lowry, Randy (Kristin) Lowry, Betsy (Mike) Lowe and Rusty (Penny) Lowry; grandchildren; Lake and Danielle, Quinton and Amber, Leslie and Alex, Logan, Ty and Madison, Faith and Zach, Alex and Abby; great grandchildren, Emme, Aybree, Sadie Brook, Baylor, Laelynn and Brylon; siblings, Ben Frank Hawkins; Tish Ball, Jennie Walters, and Wah Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Monday, October 19, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow with Reverend David Maude officiating. Friends and family will meet, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:45 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. interment.
