Briseis (Bri) Aaliyah Aljumaily
Briseis Aaliyah Aljumaily, Age 15 of Luttrell, TN unexpectedly went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 29th, 2023. She was born on October 29th, 2007 in Tampa, FL to Kelley Jean Curry-Aljumaily & the late Charles Damon (Ali) Aljumaily. She had an adventurous young life having lived in Wyoming; North Carolina; Florida & then permanently in Luttrell, TN.
Bri currently attended Union County High School as a Freshman so excited to be in high school. She was not only pretty, but bright & highly intelligent & held in high regard by her teachers since her days at Luttrell Elementary School. She was a member of the Beta Club & maintained a 4.0 average. She was involved in many activities. She had helped work the “volunteer registration table” many times along side her Mamaw Cindy at the Hansard Chapel Food Pantry. She loved serving the community. She had previously attended Cedar Ford Baptist Church where she had been baptized by Pastor Jeff Leach. She was currently active at Circle A/G Youth Group & Corryton Church. She had received Jesus as her personal Lord & Savior.
Bri was fun loving; brilliant & loved Starbucks Iced Caramel Macchiatos! She made an impact anywhere she would go. Her smile lit up a room with a beautiful personality to match. She loved spending time with her many; many friends & cutting up on SnapChat & Tik Tok. For this fashionista, shopping was always on her favorite list of things to do!
She had a special bond with her little sister, Gabi & loved her so dearly.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother, Joyce Ann Vickery; her Mamaw Joanne Wiggins; her Papaw Curtis Fleenor; her sister Gabriella Aljumaily & a special bonus Dad, Gerald Fortner. Her precious nieces that loved her dearly, Audrie Quinn Cooper-Fortner & Evelyn(Evie) Rose Cooper-Fortner.
She leaves to mourn her passing her Mother, Kelley Jean Curry-Aljumaily; Brothers John Fortner & Damon Aljumaily; Sisters: MiKayla Sneed(Marcus); Destiny Duncan(Matt); Hannah Aljumaily; Courtney Campbell(Tay) & Alexis Aljumaily. Her Maternal Mamaw Cindy Fleenor & her Maternal Grandparents Dennis & Lori Longhurst.
Aunts: Denise Fijewski(Tim) ; Cynthia Poole(Bobby); Shanna Acres(Jeff); Cindus Henry & her very special Aunt Tamara Saiepour. Also surviving are her special Uncle Sean Aljumaily; her funny Uncle CJ Curry(Emily Wilson); Brian Longhurst; Shawn Fleenor(Michelle) & her newest Brother-in-law-to-be Benny Goley Jr. Two special Great Uncles Dennis Curry (Dawn), Uncle Skippy(George Barnes) and Scott Curry . There are too many other cousins; family members & friends to mention.
Friends will be received at Trinity Funeral Home, Saturday, February 4th 1 - 3 PM with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 3 PM with Pastors Jeff Leach & Eddie Muncey officiating.
