Christopher “Chris” Dyer – age 34 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith. Chris was a graduate of Powell High School class of 2001.

He is preceded in death by grandfather, Carnes Dyer; aunt, Tammy Massengill; and uncle, Bob Dyer. Chris is survived by son, Caylex Dyer; mother, Sherry Dyer; father, C. G. Dyer; step mother, Sheila Dyer; grandparents, Mildred Dyer, and Vivian and A. J. Baker; sisters, Brittany Dyer, Kiana Davis and Brandi (Ryan) Pearce; brother, Benji (Ayn Marie) Gray; nephews, Jackson and Carson; niece Hadley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Lee Murphy officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Dyer Cemetery for a 10:30 a.m. interment service.
