Curtis “Marty” Corum, Jr. – age 72 of Maynardville, passed away suddenly October 15, 2022 at his home. He was of the Church of God faith and served in the U. S. Army. Marty was a member of Sheet Metal Worker Local #5. He loved fishing, hunting and anything about cars and trucks.

He is preceded in death by son, Jason Corum; parents, Curtis and Dollie Corum; and nephew, Reed Stowers. Marty is survived by wife of 38 years, Roberta Corum; children, Angela (James) Orick; Brandy (Ronny) Hopson and Fleshia (Tony) Graves; grandchildren, Nikelle Thweatt, Lakin Orick, Tanner Graves, Chase Graves, Jaylan Hopson and Zander Orick; great grandchildren, Kinleigh Thweatt and Kambriegh Thweatt; sister, Judy Stowers; and many great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service will follow with Reverend Eddie Muncey officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:45 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Trinity Funeral Home to proceed to Big Barren Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service with Military Rites to be conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard.
