To my cousin Darrell, you will be greatly missed. I wish we could have shared more Taylor family memories but thanks to cousin Nicka we were able to meet. My deepest sympathy, prayers and love to cousins Mary Evelyn and Wayne. I will be thinking of another angel resting at Taylor's Grove. Betty and Steve

My heart was broken when I heard the news of Darrell’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his parents Wayne and Mary, family and friends during this difficult time. I met Darrell about 26 years ago working with him at Oakwood Furniture, I found a friend for life. Over the years we went to many concerts and music festivals together. When Darrell would come to Sevierville to visit, we would play tourist for the day. I loved him like a brother, all I can say is we lost a wonderful friend. Darrell was loved by everyone who knew him, a constant in the community. He will be greatly missed by all of us, I believe if Darrell could say one thing to us now it would be make sure your hearts right with the Lord. His wish would be for us to join him in paradise. Fly high and rest easy my dear friend until we meet again.

So sorry to hear of Darrell passing. He was my favorite furniture man, and always so nice. I first met him through my cousing Lori and admired his stamina in his cancer battle. May he rest in peace and prayers for his parents and family.
