I guess my first memory of David was the night him and Karen were married. Best I can remember, they were married the same night we had our Christmas play at Hines Creek Church right before the play. David was always a positive influence in my life and I am honored to know him and call him brother! Lots of memories going on family vacations. I guess the smell of coffee will always remind me of those trips in my younger years and hearing David and Dad talking on the cb working out the route and just talking. Lots of memories over the years to look back on. See you when I get there friend.

I am very sad today to read that Mr. Effler has passed. Although I only had the opportunity to meet him on a few occasions, it was clear that he was a fine, honest gentleman that loved his family and enjoyed helping others. I have known Kristi for a number of years and have admired her work ethic, good business sense and Christian values. It was clear to me after meeting her parents how she came to have such fine character. Mr. Effler helped our family several years ago when we were trying to get my mother settled in a new home that needed a new canvas awning. He was kind, most helpful and very cost conscience. It was also clear in talking with him that he really loved his family. My heart is with Kristi, Karen and the family at this very difficult and sad time.
