Obituary for Dean Stewart Miller

On Tuesday, November 2, 2021, Dean Stewart Schultz-Miller, Loving Husband Father, Son, Brother & Uncle, claimed his angel wings, that he so rightfully earned here on earth, at the age of 55.

Dean was born to the parents of Clementine and William, March 28, 1966, While receiving his high school education, Dean joined the shotput team. Where he rose to the top of his class. From there, his mother would pack them up in the car and travel around the eastern United States, from competition to competition. Dean then went on to join the United States Army Corp. where he Very Proudly became a paratrooper with the 82nd airborne, stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Given the chance, Dean would ‘JUMP’ at the opportunity to talk about his adventures, ‘jumping out of airplanes’, wherever & whenever he could. He would encourage everyone within hearing distance to join any branch of the US military. For he awards credit to them, for keeping him on the straighten arrow, to staying out of trouble and his adventurous adulthood. Which he also attributes his amazing abilities of attention to detail, to whatever he puts his mind to.

Dean had a passion for fixing things. His uncanny knowledge and capabilities to fix or build whatever was put before him, was beyond spectacular. With anything from pluming to electrical, carpentry to computers, vehicles to bicycles. You name it, he could troubleshoot it and remedy it. Better yet, he could take whatever it was and completely take it apart and put it back together, better than factory but don’t EVER leave your cigarette lighter lying around or trust him with any set of keys, if you ever want to see them again.

As a young adult, Dean did everything from waiting tables, modeling, nightclub management and more. He really put his abilities to test, when he acquired a position installing security alarms. He had found his second childhood. He moved on to install appliances, any and all. Mastering that, he set out on his own for a small bit, in 2002, starting his own business, ‘Trusted Allied Appliance Installer’. Dean was also a gamer, committed to his beloved, Americas Army. Which inspired him to build his own website from the ground up, COMBATLIFESAVERS.US. Dean then began his battle to fight cancer for the first time with stage four non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, twice, back to back. Then onto to have a stem cell transplant in Baltimore Maryland, where he was reborn into a brand new man. Some years later, he was delivered the news of his squamous cell basal carcinoma, which once more, he proudly rang the bell, to only find out that not all was removed and that it had Mastatized to his lungs and bones. When eventually after the “hardest”, strongest, knock down, drag’em out fight, he had ever been up against, my “”SUPERMAN””, this time had too much kryptonite in his pockets…he lost this fight…

The thing Dean was MOST proud of was, his sheer unequivocal devotion for Event Coordinator Extraordinaire. Where he started at @HUNTERVALLEYFARM, moved on to @TheSunsphere and ultimately with the backing of Jimmy Buckner, @DOWNTOWN211 where he lovingly shed his blood, sweat and tears. building a business into a phenomenal level of quality & excellence from accommodations with AirB&B, to providing a venue w/Downtown211 and Downtown211rooftop, for countless Weddings, Wedding parties, bridal events. Corporate events, etc. awarding Dean with AirB&B Superhost for 5 years straight and Best Event Venue in Knoxville, 2 consecutive years in a row, with the •KNOXVILLE BUSINESS HALL OF FAME•

Now…‘I’ say, see ya… to the most amazing man in the universe. I love you my Dean and I will miss you forever…

From Dean:
