Donald Michael Houser – age 69 of Andersonville. On the morning of May 16, 2019, Don was carried by angels into the arms of God. His pain is gone, he is at peace. He will be missed by all who loved him, and all who knew him, loved him. He was retired from the City of Knoxville Fire Department where he enjoyed many years of service and made many friends. Don was a member of Hines Creek Baptist Church. He was always singing and everyone loved hearing him sing gospel songs. He loved building furniture and any kind of woodworking, but most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and Pop-paw.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cas and Neta Houser; sister, Carolyn Butcher; and mother-in-law, Helen Hunter. Left to cherish his memory, the love of his life, Pat. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 2, 2018; daughters, April (David) Mashburn and Allison (Ricky) Lakes; and son, Adam; grandchildren, Cody and Cole Mashburn, Zack, Zoey and Zane Lakes; great granddaughters, Miya and Molly Mashburn; brothers-in-law, David (Cheryl) Hunter, Larry (Nancy) Hunter and Bill Butcher; special nieces, Terry Chapman and Vicki Ealy; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends he loved.
