Donald Ray Odom – age 81 of Maynardville, left for his heavenly home on February 5, 2023. He was born in Sweetwater on September 23, 1941. Donald was employed with TVA for 31 years where he made many fond memories and many dear friends. During his retirement he gardened and mowed many yards. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Paul Odom and mother, Lennie Rebecca Cooke Odom; brother, James K. Odom; and son, Tony Ray Odom. Donald is survived by loving wife of 61 years, Ruby; children, Regina (Mark) Cooper, Phillip (Stephanie) Odom, Donnie Odom, and Kevin (Misty) Odom; grandchildren, Tonya Odom, Tosha (C. J.) Peace, Lili Hannah and Nate Cooper, Christopher (Bradley) Odom, Grace (D. J.) Odom, Emily (Noah) Odom, Jayla Rucker, Tristan Paskel, Hayden (Abby) Paskel and Ethan Paskel, Chase and Tucker Odom; great grandchildren, Breanna, Payton, Levi, Maci, Malia and Reagan; special friends, Matthew and Marcus Bruner; friend of the family, Trisha Paskel; and special fur baby, Riley.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Gary Beeler officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 to proceed to Sharp Cemetery in Luttrell for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
