Erwin Lynn Berry – age 64 of Sharps Chapel, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2019. He was a member and deacon of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Erwin was an employee of Pilot Corporation for 38 years.
Erwin is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Ruth (Woods) Berry; and sister, Jeanie (Berry) Bowling. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kimberly (Barnard) Berry; son, Dustin Lynn (Tracy) Berry of Corryton; daughter, Brittany DeAnn Berry of Sharps Chapel; grandchildren, Braxton, Foster and Levi Berry; sister, Janice (Howard) Rutherford; brothers, twin Ernie (Cindy) Berry, Edwin (Sandy) Berry and Edward (Jeannie) Berry; brother-in-law, Terry Bowling; mother-in-law, Phyllis Dotson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Terry Amburgey, and Elder Trevor Bean officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to the Berry Family Cemetery in Sharps Chapel for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
