Floyd Edward McCoy – age 84 of Andersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He served his country in the U S Army in Korea.

He is preceded in death by parents, Luther and Retha (Beeler) McCoy; sisters, Loretta and Gloria Jean (McCoy) Fox; and brothers, Earl McCoy, Pete McCoy, Claude McCoy and Arthur McCoy. Floyd is survived by best friend and wife of 64 years, Gloria Jean (White) McCoy; children, Chris and Janet McCoy, Lynn and Stephanie McCoy and Tonya and Jason Hubbs; grandchildren, Brad and Tori McCoy, Trey and Amanda McCoy, Madison McCoy, Landon Hubbs, Sawyer McCoy, Ty McCoy and Sadie McCoy; great grandson, Paxton McCoy; and special friends, brother-in-law Roy Fox, Harold Woods and Eddie Cole.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Josh Jones officiating. Friends and family will go in procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Serving as pallbearers, Brad McCoy, Trey McCoy, Sawyer McCoy, Ty McCoy, Landon Hubbs and Jason Hubbs.
