GABRIELLA ANNALEESE ALJUMAILY
Gabriella Annaleese Aljumaily Age 5, unexpectedly was escorted by angels to be in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 29th, 2023. She was born at UTMC on December 30, 2017 & was blessed with an “extra chromosome” which made her extra special to all who come in contact with her. Gabi may have had Down’s Syndrome but she was down right perfect! She was currently enrolled at Paulette Elementary Pre-School & a client at Mission Hope.
She was a very special little girl who loved life & brought joy around here. Whether she was dancing in front of the TV to Dance Monkey; Baby Shark & Gangham Style or singing Happy Birthday gleefully in front of her vanity. She had also learned to sing “Jesus Loves Me” & “Father Abraham”. Her favorite pastimes were watching Cocomelon & Ryan’s World shows on her tablet while chewing on a straw. Gabi was so special that her photo was chosen two years in a row to be the poster child to represent NDSS Tennessee on the New York Times Square Jumbotron. She participated annually with her family in the local Knoxville Buddy Walk & met many new friends in the group.
She loved cuddling with her Mom & playing with her siblings & nieces. All of her sisters shared a special bond with Gabi that will never be broken. Gab-a-labs, you will always be in our hearts. Your Daddy & Mommy loved you dearly!
She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother, Joyce Ann Vickery; her Mamaw Joanne Wiggins; her Papaw Curtis Fleenor; her sister Briseis Aljumaily & a special bonus Dad, Gerald Fortner. Her precious nieces that loved her dearly, Audrie Quinn Cooper-Fortner & Evelyn(Evie) Rose Cooper-Fortner. She leaves to mourn her passing her Mother, Kelley Jean Curry-Aljumaily; Brothers John Fortner & Damon Aljumaily; Sisters: MiKayla Sneed(Marcus); Destiny Duncan(Matt); Hannah Aljumaily; Courtney Campbell(Tay) & Alexis Aljumaily. Her Maternal Mamaw Cindy Fleenor & her Maternal Grandparents Dennis & Lori Longhurst.
Aunts: Denise Fijewski(Tim) ; Cynthia Poole(Bobby); Shanna Acres(Jeff); Cindus Henry & her special Great-Aunt Tamara Saiepour. Also surviving are her Uncles: CJ Curry(Emily Wilson); Brian Longhurst; Shawn Fleenor(Michelle); Sean Aljumaily; & her newest Brother-in-law-to-be Benny Goley Jr. Two special Great Uncles Dennis Curry (Dawn), Uncle Skippy(George Barnes) and Scott Curry . There are too many other cousins; family members & friends to mention.
Friends will be received at Trinity Funeral Home, Saturday, February 4th between 1 - 3 PM with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 3 PM with Pastors Jeff Leach & Eddie Muncey officiating. Jared Graves will provide music. Special singing by Madison Dyer; Natalie Bailey; Abby Chadwell; Elsie Mendoza-Ingraham & others.
