Gertie Sue Nicley – age 77 of Washburn, passed away peacefully at home July 12, 2022.
She is preceded in death by sons, Dwight and Mike Nicley; parents, Clarence and Lola (Needham) Munsey; sisters, Peggy Savage, Dorothy “Dot” Bailey and Kathy Weaver; brother, Albert Munsey; and sister-in-law, Betty Munsey. Sue is survived by daughters, Sherri (Billy) Moore and Trish (Tim) McDowell; son, Billy Nicley; brother, J. F. Munsey; grandchildren, Jessica (Stephen) Farmer, Matt (Alicia) McGinnis, Micah, Trevor, Macy and Chloe McDowell, Jordan Nicley, Stori Henderson and Billy Goode; great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Ella, Molissie and Silas Farmer, Addison and Madeline McGinnis, Novaleigh Walker, Cadence, Draven and Raylynne Henderson, Aiden, Paisley and Taylor Goode; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Randy Beeler officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2022 to proceed to Liberty Hill Cemetery in Washburn.
