Gordon Everett Welch – age 69 of Maynardville, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. Gordon was born April 6, 1952 and was a member of Community Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by parents, Stella and Everett Welch; and sisters, Frankie Welch and Susan Yates; Gordon is survived by wife of 44 years, Linda Welch; daughter, Kim (Chris) Payne; son, Darrell Welch and fiancée Charity; grandchildren, Lilly and Emma Payne and Payton and Natalie; sister, Elaine (Randy) Gaut; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Phillip Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:45 a.m., Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Trinity to go in procession to Hinds Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
