Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harley Elkins can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Harley Weyman "H. W."  Elkins
Harley Weyman (H. W.) Elkins – age 89 of the Big Ridge Community, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. He spent his life working as a dairy farmer and as a school bus contractor with Union County Schools for over 50 years. He was a member and Deacon of Valley Grove Baptist Church and a member of J. C. Baker Masonic Lodge #720.

He is preceded in death by wife, Lennie; parents, Charlie and Dolphia Elkins; sister, Hazel Pickel; and brother, Frank Elkins. Weyman is survived by daughter, Sharron Elkins; granddaughter and husband, Andrea and Austin Newman; great grandson, Sam Meyers; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Myrtle Elkins; sister-in-law, Clara Elkins; family friend, Lenny Holt; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Jimmy Davidson and Reverend Mark George officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
