Harley E. “Ted” Jones, Sr. – age 95 of Maynardville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by wife, Virginia Ruth Jones; son and wife, Harley and Carolyn; parents, George and Bertha C. Jones; siblings, Ken and Josephine Jones, Jean and Woodrow Carey, Dona and Sam Sexton, Lois and Tate Smith and Mattie and Ted Dukes; and several nieces and nephews. Harley is survived by daughters, Theresa Campbell; grandson, Mike and Jenny Jones; granddaughters, Sharon Sivley and Angie (Jason) Berry; great granddaughter, Taylor (Josh) Tharpe; great grandsons, Ryan and Noah Jones, Logan Barrett and Gage Sivley; and great-great grandson, Silas Barrett; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Jason Berry officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Carr Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
