Harold Odell Woods, Sr. – age 77 of Union County, passed away October 20, 2023 and is now singing with the angels. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, brother and friend to many. Our hearts are broken, but we know he has no more pain. He will be missed by many, but the moments and memories are left for us to cherish until we meet again.

He is preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Virgie Woods and several brothers. Harold is survived by his wife, Wilma Woods; children, Harold, Jr. (Norma), Julia (Luther), Billy (Tosha), Joey (Heather), Benjamin, George (Amber), Steven (Kinsley), Christopher (Lindsay), Faith (Kane) and Hope; brothers and sisters, Jim Woods, Paul Woods and Wanda Cox Byerley; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m., at New Loyston Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Reverend Jim Woods officiating.
