Obituary for Helen Marie Cox
Helen Marie (McBee) Cox – age 93 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2021, peacefully at home with her children by her side. She was saved when she was 16 years old and was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Luther Cox; parents, Fate and Myrtle McBee; brother, Swan McBee; and sisters, Trula Hobock, Ruby Woods and Ruth Franklin. Helen is survived by her son, Mike (Kathy) Cox; daughters, Brenda (Donnie) Irick, Linda (Bob) Cole, Trisha (Steve) Browning, Sherry (Kyle) DeMarcus and Sheila; grandchildren, Kris, Stephanie, Shawnda, Eric, Alyssa, Adam, Alison, Ashley, Jessica, Benji and Brandi; nineteen great grandchildren; and special friend, Ruby Eads. The family would like to thank Caris Health Care for the care and support they provided.
Drop by viewing hours will be held at Trinity Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2021. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 12:45 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Cox Cemetery, Hickory Valley Road, for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Reverend Fred Goodson and Reverend Bryan Cooke officiating.
