Obituary for Helen Ruth Lane (Holt)

HELEN RUTH (HOLT) LANE of Andersonville, TN (Formerly of Powell, TN) born March 9th 1937 in Knox County, TN peacefully gained her Angel Wings, Thursday November 4th 2021, age 84, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, surrounded by her loving family, at the home of her daughter. She was of the Christian Faith having professed Christ her Savior at 12 years old. Her favorite verse was John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. She would often say, “If you miss Heaven, you have surely missed it all.” Very dedicated to reading God’s Word daily, she would frequently inquire of others, “Do you read your Bible? Please promise you will?” She would often mention the fact that:“ Jesus Never Fails” and “I love the Lord with all my heart.” Helen loved unconditionally and was fully devoted to her family and many others whom she came in contact with during life’s journey. At times she was an avid and talented seamstress. Also, when younger, she was able to play piano by ear. Those that have gone on before her are undoubtedly jubilant with her arrival in Heaven.
