Hollis F. Summers – age 79 of Corryton, passed away May 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was baptized and a member of Rutledge Pike Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by wife, Lucretia Summers; and parents, Fred and Hazel Almeta Cox; siblings, Roger Dale Summers, Johnnie Lynn Cox and JoAnne Nadeau. Hollis is survived by loving children, Gwen and Chuck Hartsook, Teresa and Leo Owens, Tim and Willa Summers, James and Ande Summers, Tanya and Charles Kuehn and Fred Summers; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; and beloved nephews, Roger Dale Summers II, B. J. Cox, Donny Cox, Jr.; and niece, Cindy Adams McGeorge.

The family will receive friends, Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Leonard Goins and Reverend Joe McCoy officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to M. C. Keck Cemetery in New Tazewell for an 11:00 a.m. graveside.
