Obituary for Ina Mae Smith (Coppock)
Ina Mae Smith – age 84 of Andersonville, born October 27, 1934, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was a member of Valley Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Ina was retired from Palm Beach Company and the Union County School System. She enjoyed watching the Lady Vols and working in her flowers.
Ina is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Smith; parents, Elmer and Genee Coppock; brother, John Everett Coppock; and sister, Shirley Jean Coppock. She is survived by daughter, Vickie (Larry) Lamb of Iowa, and Connie (Rick) Macklin of Maynardville; sons, Allen (Loretta) Smith of Andersonville, Marty (Trish) Smith of Andersonville and Gordon (Holly) Smith of Heiskell; grandchildren, Robbie and Jamie Bailey, Heather Lamb, Kim and Chris Smith, Candy, Gabby, Layla, Laura Beth and Allison Smith; great grandchildren, Mason, Colton, Carter, Matt, Alex, Hunter, Luke, Peyton, Avonlea, Kenna and Paislee; sister, Carolyn Hartline of Maynardville; several special nieces and nephews; and special friend, Paul Burkhart. The family would like to express a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice Care and staff for their care and concern and a special thank you to hospice nurse, Amanda Walker.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October, 30, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Andy Lynn, Reverend Mike Keck and Reverend Kyle Shell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Snodderly Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. interment service.
