Jack Phillip Sherrod – age 87 of Maynardville, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Life Care Center in Jefferson City. He was of the Baptist Faith and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mona Moreland Sherrod; daughter, Penny Cole; and a brother and sister. Jack is survived by his wife, Loretta Oaks Sherrod; son, Phil (Jennifer) Sherrod, Pam Stallsworth; son-in-law, Donnie Kitts; stepdaughter, Kay (Robbie) Beeler; and son-in-law, Keith Russell; grandchildren, Johnny Sherrod, Margaret Cole and Justin Stallsworth; great grandchildren, Andrew, Landon and Lyn Sherrod, and Kaylie Boggs; great great grandchildren, McKinley, Maci and Riley Lyn; step grandchildren, Matt Beeler and Kaitlin Wheeler; and step great grandchild, Brantley Beeler; several nieces and nephews: and many other family and friends.
