Jack W. Myers – age 95 of Maynardville, passed away on March 28, 2022 at home after a brief illness. He was a member of Community Baptist Church, a member of American Legion Post 212, VFW Post 8682 of Union County, and a World War II Veteran. Jack was a retiree of Painters and Allied Trades, being a Drywaller for over 35 years. He was an avid lover of the outdoors, spending much of his life fishing and hunting with his son and grandson in Oregon.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wandella Brantley Myers; infant son, David Jack Myers; father and mother, John and Gertrude Myers; brother, Heron; sisters, Willie Blake, Lillian Swenney, Mildred Northern and Clara Myers. Jack is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marjorie Brantley Myers; son, Jeff (Candy) Myers; grandson, Brandon (Ashley) Myers; and great-grandson, Brantley Myers, all of Oregon; sisters, Anita Ray of Sikeston, MO; and Bernice Williams of Charleston, MO; step-daughter, Sherry (Lloyd) Railey; step-granddaughter, Sonya (Barry) Corum; and special step-great-grandson and fishing buddy, Ethan Corum, all of Luttrell; step-daughter, Kay (Perry) Whitt; step-granddaughter, Tisha (Andy) Cameron; step-great-grandchildren, Chesney and Tilley Cameron, all of Rutledge; step-grandson, Michael (Tasha) Whitt; step-great grandchildren, Leland, Elijah and Aubrey Whitt, all of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews. We want to say a special thank you to UT Hospice, Heather, and all others for their guidance and compassionate care.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Jody Winstead officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Trinity to go in procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Military Rites to be conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard.
