Obituary for Jessie Faye Hensley

Jessie Faye Hensley (Wyrick), age 77 of Luttrell, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 7, 2024 at UT Medical Center. She is now free of all pain and is singing in that Heavenly choir. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church where she was the song leader and played the guitar. She had the biggest heart and loved everyone, especially her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. As of May 3rd, she would have been at DeRoyal, the job she loved, for 37 years.
She is proceded in death by her parents Emerson and Bessie Wyrick, brothers Sunny, Junior and Billy Wyrick and her sister Elizabeth Wyrick. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years J.D Hensley. Sisters Margie Brooks and Lilly Atkins. Brothers Ray and David Wyrick. Son: James (Brenda) Hensley. Daughter: Tammy (Dewayne) Beeler. Grandchildren: Jay (Ashley) Hensley, Heather (Wesley) Muncey, Nicole Cress (Josh Allen), Nicholas (Shameeka) Beeler, Nikenzie Beeler, Jonathan (Cheyenne) Hensley, and Jared (Ashley) Hensley. Great grandchildren: Nathan and Natalie Hensley, Brooklyn Muncey, Lexi and Naylan Cress, Hazyl, and Slade Beeler. Emri and Ezra Hensley. She also had a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Trinity Funeral Home with a service to follow. Rev. Eddie Muncey officiating and music will be provided by Brittany Muncey and Jarad Hensley. Family and friends will meet at Trinity Funeral Home on Wednesday April 10th at 12:45pm to go in procession to Skaggs Cemetery for a 2pm graveside service.
