Joey Hensley – age 65 of Luttrell, went home to be with Lord after a brief illness. Our hearts are broken at the loss of our beloved husband, father, brother and uncle. Joey loved spending time with his family. He loved his UT Vols! Joey was a big presence in our lives and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Della Mae Hensley, mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Dora Beeler; brother, Bud Hensley, brothers-in-law, Dale Douglas, Johnnie Lee Beeler and Jeff and Jerry Beeler; sister-in-law, Mary Beeler; and nephew, Michael Hensley. Joey is survived by wife, Libby Hensley; daughter, Mariah Hensley; sisters, Faye Douglas and Charlotte Sands; brothers, Danny (Donna) Hensley and Mike (Karen) Hensley; nieces and nephews, Phillip (Kim), Ray, Paul (Lenore), Brenda (David), Russ (Sally), Crystal (Derek), Jason (Melissa), Jessica (Joe), Stevie, Ashley (Joey) and Sarah; and several great nieces and nephews that he adored.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Tim Inklebarger and Reverend Doug Munsey officiating. Friends and family will meet 9:45 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 to proceed to Beeler Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
