Obituary for John William "Jack" Grau

John “Jack” Grau – age 76 of Sharps Chapel, passed away on July 10, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Jack and his wife Annie have been married for 54 years. They met in England in 1968 where Jack was stationed with the Air Force as a military police officer. Most of his youth was in Piqua, Ohio where he attended Piqua Catholic High School where he was active in football and basketball. Jack was employed by Sears Roebuck for over 40 years, holding many positions at various locations throughout the United States. He and Annie retired to Sharps Chapel in October 2011 living in the Sunset Bay community. Jack was an avid boater and was very involved with the Sunset Bay Mariners Club. He also enjoyed pickle ball and golf. He will be missed by his beloved family and his many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Annie; children, Jeffrey Sean and Jason Andrew (Kristy) Grau, Heather Ivy (Steven); grandchildren, who knew him as Gaga, Reagan, John, Ivy, Rielle and Elden.
