Katelyn Ashton Garrett – age 18 of Corryton, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at U T Medical Center. Our beautiful precious Kate lost her battle to AML. She fought long and hard and was so brave. Not only for all of us, but for her perfect baby girl, Madison Grace. We know that Katelyn is no longer in pain. She went through those Pearly Gates. Katlyn gets to walk with our Father, hug her mother and hold her baby girl.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Madison Grace Moore; and mother, Brenda Donnell. Survived by -Sister Harley Perkey, Brothers William Hill, Timothy and Justin Wells, Father Michael Garrett, grandparents Lynn and Betty Garrett, Cousin Angel Beeler, Fiancé Terry Moore, grandparents Wayne and Novella Hunley, Vickie Shepherd and Robert Miller, aunt Kim Owens, cousins Ellie Avila and Xavier Hughes, step Father James Donnell, along with an abundance of extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service will follow with Reverend Jody Darden officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2022 to proceed to Community Cemetery in Luttrell for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Serving as pallbearers, William Hill, Terry Moore, T. J. Wells, Justin Wells, Wayne Hunley and Tommy Weiler; honorary pallbearer Terry Joe Loop.
