Lora Jean Johnson - was born on March 25, 1931 and passed away on December 26, 2022. She was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church. She graduated from Young High School and received a Bachelor in Library Science from the University of Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by husband, Bob Johnson; son, Jody Johnson; and parents, Samuel and Francis Hinton. Lora is survived by daughter, Francis Snyder; granddaughters, Cristina Hopwood and Tiffany Snyder; grandson, John Lee (Heather) Snyder and Tony (Megan) Snyder; great grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Macy, Sophie and Caraline.
The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Church Street United Methodist Church in Knoxville. The service to follow with Reverend Catherine Nance officiating. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
