Margaret Lynn Bowles – age 83 of Maynardville, born November 26, 1937, went to her Heavenly home, February 16, 2021 at home with her family. She was saved at a young age and is a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James “J. C.” Bowles; son-in-law, Wayne Smith; parents, James Tommy and Etha Mills; sisters, Elaine Mills, Carolyn (Teddy) Jones and Alma Hutchison; brother, Alvin Mills; and sister-in-law, Marie Kitts. Margaret is survived by daughters, Kathy Smith and Kaye (Larry) Young; grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Buck, Holly (Dwight) Bales; Dustin (Amy) Reno, Matthew (Amanda) Reno, Chris (Tiffany) Young, and Ryan Young; eighteen great grandchildren; brothers, Sherman (Cinda) Mills, Tommy (Kathy) Mills, Benny (Janice) Mills and Reford (Eula) Mills; sisters, Mary Roark and Kathleen (James) Dyer; brother-in-law, Erby (Ann) Bowles; sisters-in-law, Faye Mills and Margie Wilson; and special friends, Virginia Tharp and Don Earnheart.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2021 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The family will arrive at 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Stephen Williams and Reverend Johnny Owens officiating. Family and friends will meet at Trinity Funeral Home Friday, February 19, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. to go in procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. burial service.
