Obituary for Michael Charles Taylor
Michael Charles Taylor, age 38, of Maynardville, TN went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2023, surrounded by his family at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center following a long battle with liver disease. Michael was born on June 10th, 1985, in Knoxville, TN and graduated from Anderson County High School in 2003. He achieved a Certificate as a Nursing Assistant but worked as a service technician most of his career. Michael loved to bowl, play golf, watch UT Football, and forge knives. Michael was saved at the age of 13 and rededicated his life to Christ this year, assuring his family that all was well between him and the Lord. He was a member of Crossroads Church of God in Halls, TN.
Preceded in death by his great grandparents, James and Zollie Kidwell; grandparents, Seaborn and Sandy Waggoner, Papaw Charles Taylor; fathers, Michael Dean Collins and John Teffeteller; sister, Rachael Nichole Brunner.
Michael leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Chassitty Williams Taylor; sons, Michael Lee, Jacob Hendrix, and Colton Bradley Taylor, daughters, Rachael Marie, Jennifer Ailine Taylor, and Mackenzie Mixon; mother, Dianne Teffeteller; grandmother, Judy Taylor; brothers, Rick (Angela) Teffeteller, Scott (Sondra) Teffeteller, David (Peggy) Russell; twin sister, Kandas (Daniel) Bailey; uncle, Todd (Karen) Taylor; aunt, Lora (Chris) Atkins; nieces, Alyssa, Whitney, Kaiden, Kaitlynn, and Kelsey; nephews, Zach, Marshall, Noah, and Daniel; great nephew, Waylon Teffeteller; several cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Trinity Funeral home, Friday December 29, 2023, from 5 to 7 p. m. with the service to follow with the Reverend Jay Bell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Trinity at 10 a.m. on Saturday December 30th to go in procession to Pleasant View Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ty Blakley, Justin Taylor, William Taylor, Daniel C.
