Branum, Mildred Louise (Long) – age 83 of Maynardville, formally of South Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2013. She was a long time member of Miller’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a member of FCE Homemakers Club and member of the Acacia-May Chapter #24 of the Order of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by husband, H. C. Branum; parents, D. W. and Louise Long; and sister, Carlotta Johnson. She is survived by daughters, Debra (Larry) West, Theresa (David) Renfro, Patricia (Jack) Todd, Jr., and Angie (Jimmy) Sexton; sons, Carson (Julie) Branum and Chris (Reneeʹ) Branum; and brother, Bill Long; grandchildren, Brandon (Kim) Ward, Samantha West, Erin (Brian) Kennedy, Austin Renfro, Jessica Sexton, Kelsey Branum, Nick Branum, Christian Branum, Nate Branum and Zoē Branum; great grandchildren; Ella and Isabel Kennedy and Molly Ward; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow immediately at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Ken Luton and Reverend John Mayes officiating. Interment will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in New Loyston Memorial Gardens.
