Mona H. Chittum – age 80 of Tazewell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family February 9, 2021. She was a member of Faith Deliverance Church.

She is preceded in death by husband, Lonnie Chittum; parents, Carsie and Lydia Holt; infant grandson, Michael Chittum; brothers and sisters, Fred Holt, Cecil Holt, Joe Holt, Sue McKellveen, Mamie Jean Phifer, Mildred Sweet, Wilma Graves and Bill Holt. Mona is survived by children, Lonnie Kent Chittum, Arnold Keith Chittum, Mitch (Gayle) Chittum, Wendell (April) Chittum and Londa (Jeff) Eversole; grandchildren, Shannon Graves, Travis, Mitchell II, Jamie, Brad, Taylor, Justin, Caleb, Eli, Carter and Mason Chittum, Madison, Daniel and Haley Eversole; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The family will arrive at 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2021 with Reverend Paul Blankenship officiating and reading of the obituary by Jeff Eversole.
