Patty Jones – age 81 of Simpsonville, Kentucky, former resident of Harrogate, Tennessee for over 40 years passed away peacefully February 12, 2022. She was a member of Miller’s Chapel Baptist Church and saved at a young age. Patty was a caring, compassionate friend to all. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and Mammie. Patty was known to those who knew her as Mama Wally of The Oasis.

She is preceded in death by father and mother, Carl and Betty Poore; son, Lee Jones; and Papa Wally. Patty is survived by brother, Butch Poore; daughter, LuAnn (Greg) Thomas; grandchildren, Shelly (Matt) Laux, Justin (Jaime) Jones, Caleb (Jenna) Jones and Jack Jones, Will (Taylor) Thomas, Gus (Jessica) Thomas; and thirteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will meet 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Mountain View Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 389 Greers Chapel Rd. Harrogate, Tennessee 37752 for a 12:00 noon graveside service with Mark George officiating.
