Peggy June (Seagle) Burggraf – age 71 of Tazewell, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at home to spend eternity in her Heavenly home with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born December 13, 1951 to Earl and Ruby June Seagle. Peggy lived her Christian life and love for the Lord to everyone she met. She lived most of her life with heart problems, but she was known to have the biggest heart for people. The one-word people used to describe Peggy was “sweet”. One of her favorite verses was Proverbs 3:5-6.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruby Jean Seagle; brother, Ronnie Seagle; and niece, Shannon Seagle. Peggy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Henry Burggraf; son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Abigail Burggraf; a beautiful granddaughter, Susannah Faith and a second one due in April; son and daughter-in-law, Tanner and Liezel Burggraf all of Hancock County; sister, Nancy (Gary) Israel; niece, Tracy Whaley and daughter Abby; nephews, Matthew Israel, Stacy Seagle, Shane Seagle and Andrew Seagle.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel in Maynardville. The service to follow with Reverend Larry Reesor and Reverend Gil Bates officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Allen Cemetery in Sevierville for a 12:00 noon graveside service.
