Obituary for Richard Lee McCroskey
Richard “Dickie” McCroskey – went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the age of 70 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
Preceded in death by parents, Troy and Zella McCroskey. Dickie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris McCroskey; children, Christy and Scott Lovell, Jessica and Eric Caldwell, and Rick McCroskey; grandchildren, Amber Lovell, Joshua Lovell, Zackary Caldwell, and Hayden Caldwell. The family would like to thank the staff of Fort Sanders for their outstanding care and compassion. Dickie led a full and happy life. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him!
A receiving of friends will be held on December 9, 2022 from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service will immediately follow. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. graveside.
