Obituary for Rita Faye Keck (Beason)

Rita Keck – age 61 of Maynardville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2022 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Rita was a lifelong member of Hinds Creek Baptist Church where she was the piano player and singer with The Beason Family for many years. One of her favorite songs was I Have A Better Place To Go. She would sing it with all that was within her because she truly believed what she was singing about.

She is preceded in death by father, Billy Ray Beason. Rita is survived by mother, Gladys Mildred Beason; husband, Dan Keck; children, Matthew (Vickie) Keck, Heather Keck, Wayne Keck and Danny Keck; grandchildren, Michael Prater, Jasmine Prater, Isaac Keck, Brealexandria Bryant, Madyson Keck, Alliah Keck, Destiny Jones, Alex Keck and Daniel Keck; siblings, Donald (Emily) Beason, Dwight Beason, Pam (Tim) Williams and Lisa (Brian) Sexton.

The family will receive friends, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to be held at Hinds Creek Church, 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 with Reverend Mark Large and Reverend Eddie Seals officiating. Mrs. Keck will lie in state from 12:00 noon until funeral service. Interment will immediately follow in Hinds Creek Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Isaac Keck, John Beason, Brian Braden, Josh Fultz, David Fultz, Christopher Fultz and James Braden.
