Rochelle Alena Helms – age 28 of Maynardville, passed away suddenly on October 2, 2022. Rochelle was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church. She was born on November 9, 1993 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. Rochelle was a graduate of Union County High School Class of 2012. She was a licensed cosmetologist and owner of Bronzed Brilliance Tanning. She was a natural at everything she set her mind to. Rochelle enjoyed crafting, painting and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Above all Rochelle was the mother to her son, her pride and joy, Clay.

She is preceded in death by, mother, Terri Fernandez; grandparents, Floyd and Joan Whited and Harry and Helen Helms; cousin, Paul Whited; and niece, Paislee Harrington. Rochelle is survived by parents, Clayton (Sharon) Helms; son, Clay Helms; siblings, Kim (Wayne) Barkman, Lori (David) Province; Christina (Elijah) Turner and Shyla (Stephen) Harrington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

The family will receive friends, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Jimmy Davidson officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:00 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022 to proceed to Pleasant View Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service.
