Sally Louise Strevel – age 81 of Corryton, went to be with Jesus on January 10, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She attended Carter High School and was a member of Emory Valley Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by father and mother, Ervin and Nellie Cooper; and sisters, Pauline Messer, Inez Hensley and Flossie Allen. Sally is survived by loving husband of 52 years, Leroy Strevel; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Dewayne Reece; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Darlene Strevel; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dwayne Kitts; grandchildren, Travis (Cody) Banks, Jason (Brianna) Belt, Anthony (Kayla) Munsey, Gavin (Sarah) Strevel, Tyler, Bethany and Zachary Kitts; and nine great grandchildren. A special thanks to Smoky Mountain Hospice for the care of Sally.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2023 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel, Maynardville. The service will follow with Reverend Richard Nicley officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Trinity to proceed to Community Cemetery, Luttrell for a 11:00 a.m., graveside service. Serving as Pallbearers are grandsons, Travis Banks, Jason Belt, Anthony Munsey, Gavin Strevel, Tyler Kitts and Zachary Kitts.
