Obituary for Robert Lester "Bob" Dyer
Dyer, Robert (Bob) – age 65 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bob worked for a special friend Anthony Nicely of Nicely Built Construction Company. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and a great friend to many. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bob is preceded in death by father, Glynn Dyer; grandparents, Reverend R. J. and Zola Dalton and Hubert and Lola Dyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Joyce Dyer; daughters, Missy (Randy) Nicley, Amy (Mike) Lowery and Lisa (Jamie) Ogle; sons, Chris (Ashley) Sexton and Eric (Kelli) Moore; mother, Mildred Dyer; grandchildren, Chance and Tayler Lowery, Amber and Abbey Nicely, Victoria and Dominic Ogle, Alec Sexton, Sarah, Hannah and Sophie Cox, Caitlin Buck and unborn baby, Alexis Lowery; sisters, Jenny (Ronnie) Coffman, Glenda (Rick) Johnson and Connie (Alvis) Coffman; brothers, Benny (Cissy) Dyer, Bill (Tina) Dyer, C. G. Dyer, Ted (Donna) Dyer, Peanut (Kim) Dyer and Greg (Jill) Dyer; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and beloved pet, Gizmo. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow immediately at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Davidson and Reverend Damon Patterson officiating.
