Obituary for Stephen Gale "Steve" Helton
Helton, Stephen Gale “Steve” – age 58 of Washburn, born April 2, 1956 went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2015. He was a member of Dry Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Steve was a loving husband and father and worked as a mechanic for Fedex Freight. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Sarah Ann Helton and father-in-law, P. A. “Junior” Wolfenbarger. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debbie Helton; children, Adam (Kitty) Helton and Megan (Randy) Brogan; step-granddaughter, Brittani Keziah; brother, Jack (Brenda) Helton; niece, Tatum (Dustin) Hill; great nephew, and great niece, Ethan Helton and Ebany Hill; mother-in-law, Delphia Wolfenbarger; brother-in-law, Quentin (Della) Wolfenbarger; and many friends. The family will receive friends, Monday, January 19, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow immediately at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Keith Carpenter and Reverend Waylon Meyers officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10: 45 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015, for an 11:00 a.m. interment in McGinnis Harrell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bo Epperson, Scrub McDaniel, Tony Harville, Greg Tipton, Patrick Tipton and Trevor Collins. Music by Jennifer Collins.
