Richard James Preston – age 78 of Luttrell, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran serving his country from 1955 to 1966. He dearly loved his family and grandchildren, enjoyed farming, fishing and the outdoors, and above all was a caring, generous and loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Susana and William Preston, Sr.; and brother, William Preston, Jr. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Ruiko Preston; daughter, Susana (Terry) Cooper; grandson, Christian (Devon) Marlow; granddaughters, Cheyenne Marlow and Tiffany Ryan; sister, Susana Preston; great grandchildren, Terra Marlow and Harley Grimes.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee with eulogy by Terry Cooper and Christian Marlow. Full Military Honors conducted by Tri County Veterans Honor Guard.
