Alfrey, Linda Lynne – age 47 of Maynardville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was a member of Basswood Baptist Church. Linda was a talented artist who opened her heart and home to many and all who knew her loved her.

Linda is preceded in death by father, Edwin Lewis; special uncle, Raymond Collins; and brother, Paul David Bates.

She is survived by loving husband of 26 years, John Alfrey; daughter, Andrea Alfrey; son, Joshua (Brandy) Alfrey; mother, Brenda (David) Bates; grandchildren, Issac James Alfrey and Indaanis Ayita Alfrey; sisters, Lisa (Mike) Carpenter, Leslie (Matt) Wall, Ashley Bates and Debby Bates; brother, Mark Lewis; many nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Don Jones officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, September 6, 2105 at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
