Boggs, James Alfred - of Maynardville was born June 24, 1938. The first of ten sons born to Isaac and Celestial (Kilgore) Boggs at Lynch, Kentucky. James passed from this life to his eternal home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Willow Ridge Center. His passing was unexpected. He had lived there for the past eleven months. We truly appreciate everyone at Willow Ridge for being so good to him and to us. Thank you everyone. James is the second son of Mr. & Mrs. Boggs to pass away. Their son Russell died as the result of an automobile accident on Hwy. 33, 46 years ago. He is also preceded by his father, Isaac and mother, Celestial. James leaves behind three sisters, Geneva Effler, Barbara Hatmaker and JoAna Houser; eight brothers, Harrell, Ray, Roy, Wayne, Forster, Spencer, Paul and Raymond. The family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends will meet Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Boggs Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
