Kennedy, Barbara Sue – age 63, of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord, April 14, 2013 at her home. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist church. She was a retired employee of Kroger’s after years of service. She is preceded in death by sister, Patty Whedbee. Survived by husband of 41 years, Garlis (Sonny) Kennedy; daughter and husband, Heather and Jason Hall; son, Jason Kennedy; parents, R. B. and Sue Patterson; sisters, Linda Sutton, Janice Wright, Carol Keese, Phyllis Trento; brother, Greg Patterson; very special granddaughter, Rachel Hall; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013 with funeral service to follow in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Burney Hutchison officiating.
