Obituary for Clayton Leon "Butch" Collier Jr.
Clayton “Butch” Collier – age 69 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Butch was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam.
Butch is survived by his wife, Laura Collier; son, Erik (Amy) Collier; grandchildren, Madison and Lane Collier; sisters, Terry Collier and Carolyn (Ed) Warwick; brother, Mike Collier; and several nieces and nephews.
An inurnment service will be held 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway. Military rites will be conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. The family requests memorial donations be made to Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard, P. O. Box 362, Maynardville, TN 37807 or The Wounded Warrior Project at support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
